Silver compact dating from the 1930's by Richard Hudnut from the MARVELOUS Line.

MARVELOUS was designed as an "Eye Matched" makeup line specifically meant for specific eye colors:

Blue Eyes - "Dresden"

Brown Eyes- "Parisian"

Hazel Eyes- "Continental"

Gray Eyes- "Patrician"

The color below appears to be part of the "Dresden" line, but I cannot be 100% sure. This shade of red does resemble the shade in the Ad below.

Acquired from the estate of a vintage/ antique costume shop owner.
