Erte "Stardust" Crescent Headdress
A crescent headdress, designed by Erte for the 1990 Broadway revival of Stardust.
The headdress is embellished with iridescent glass, beading and simulated pearls with simulated pearl crown, no size or label present.
Erte designed the costumes and sets for Stardust, a musical tribute to the lyrics of Mitchell Parish, produced by Louise Westergaard.

Erte worked under the prolific designer, Paul Poiret, from 1913-1914, before going off on his own to become a renounced costume designer.
He designed pieces for the Ziegfeld Follies and the Folies-Bergere as well as the infamous, Mata Hari.
