When I bid on this piece I didn't request a condition report because I just wanted ANYTHING that belonged to Elizabeth Taylor. Since I was a child I idolized Elizabeth Taylor for her film history and activism, which led me to learn everything I possibly could about her.
The coat is not is "perfect" condition as there are two missing buttons, but that just shows that she actually wore this coat. What makes this even better is that one button on the front appears to have had the front brown piece glued back on at some point in time. There is a small, incomplete fingerprint forever immortalized in the glue and I dare say it very well could be Elizabeth's. A girl can dream!
