1959 Cutex Gold Manicure Kit with Polish, Lipstick and Tools
Introduced in 1959, the Cutex Mira-Base and Pink From Paris "Delicate" Lipstick were the newest innovations from the 1911 established brand.
The Mira-Base was a base coat of polish that did not have to be fully dry before applying the nail polish. Accompanying the base coat is a bottle of cuticle remover, polish remover and a bottle of the Pearl Brilliance Polish in the shade "Hot Pink". The Pearl Brilliance line was introduced in 1950.
The lipstick is in the shade Pink From Paris which was introduced in 1959 along with a new case called the "Nugget Case" because it was studded with small gold nuggets.
A full manicure kit along with the unopened cotton pads are perfectly preserved.
