Molly Ringwald recently played Carson on Ryan Murphy's limited series Feud: Truman Capote vs. The Swans (FX, 2024). The series's final scene depicted the Julien's auction where Capote's ashes were famously sold from Carson's estate.

Joanne was married to famous late night host of the Tonight Show Johnny Carson from 1963 until 1973.
She was a close confidante of legendary writer Truman Capote and was until he died, in her Bel Air home, in 1985.

He had a larger than life personality to match his larger than life work ethic. David became the go-to designer of some of the biggest stars in Hollywood. Zsa Zsa and Eva Gabor, Audrey Hepburn, Linda Evans, Joan Collins, Anne Jeffreys, Phyllis Diller, Barbara Rush and at the time First Lady, Nancy Reagan favored his classic tailoring and superb design aesthetic. In 1981, he was nominated and adducted into the Los Angeles Fashion Hall of Fame.
