MADtvDorothy Lanier (Stephanie Weir) “Drama Date” Dress

A dress worn by Stephanie Weir as one of her recurring characters, Dorothy Lanier, in the sketch “Drama Date” from the 21st episode of the seventh season of the sketch series MADtv (Fox, 1995 - 2009). The dress is a long-sleeved green satin dress with ostrich feather collar and wrists. It contains a faux boutonnière affixed to the proper left chest. In the sketch, Dorothy Lanier (Weir) attempts to have dinner at an expensive restaurant with her aged fiancé, but the dinner is derailed when she runs into a former lover (Andy Daly).
