These were used to decorate a horse’s bridle, but the original owner wanted to wear it all the time! She had this made into a brooch so she could wear it whenever she wanted.
I believe this is Victorian due to the research, but the change to a brooch happened much later.
Measurements: 1 5/8” x 1 5/8” x 1/2”
Condition: Great!

Some aging to the brass.
There is an area of paint that has been discolored.
