CARMINE RED 1950's Rich Velvet and Straw Hat with Tie Veil From Dayton's
Have you wondered what the “Carmine” in Carmine & Hayworth means?
My favorite shade of red!
This hat came from the collection of a successful hairdresser here in Fargo from the 1950’s through the 1990’s!
This classic 1950’s hat is perfectly accented by a straw bow on each side with a fine netted tie veil.
Label: Dayton’s
Measurements: 7” x 7” x 1.5” // sits atop the head with the metal prongs on each side.
Condition: Great!
Some slight wear to the velvet from storage.
Slight wear on the metal prongs
The netted veil is very fragile and does have some breakage.
It has been tied in a bow by the original owner and hasn’t been untied since she last wore it. I am keeping it fastened, so please be aware that if untied more breakage could occur.
Replacing the veil is possible!
