FILM NOIR 1940's Inky Black Crepe and Lace Scalloped Dress
This dress is the perfect example of how people were resourceful with their clothing in the past decades!
The beauty was originally longer, but made shorter to be more appropriate for the times. It has shoulder pad to help with the structure. Shoulder pads were an original part of the design, but had been replaced with better quality ones in the 1980’s.
