IN THE SHADOWS Gothic Edwardian Black Satin Underskirt with Scalloped Edges
Please Note: I believe this to be Edwardian to the 1920’s based on the other garments I found with this piece. The original owner used older pieces and remade them, so it could be a mix of both.
This skirt was made by the original owner who went to school for Costume Design in New York City in the 1920’s. She opened her own clothing shop in the city and created many stunning pieces throughout the decades!
Condition: Excellent!
The sash that came with it has two small spots that look like some kind of glue. I have not tried to remove it.
Measurements:
Waist- 28”
Hips- up to 44”
Length- 29.75”
Feels like satin
