ROARING 20'S 1920's Shades of Brown Embellished Sheer Dress with Panel
This dress was made by the original owner who had a shop in New York City where she made/ designed her own clothing.
There is a panel that may have been intended to be added onto the dress.
Condition: Good!
There are areas of fabric pulls.
Some shredding to the fabric.
Areas of little spots of discoloration under the arms.
I do feel like with a proper restoration, this dress could be worn for short periods.
The material feels like the earlier version of Rayon that was created in the 1920’s.
Measurements: (this style was meant to be loose fitting, so the measurements are the VERY max size of the fabric.)
There’s very little stretch to the fabric.
Bust- up to 44”
Waist- up to 44”
Hips- up to 46”
Shoulder to shoulder- 15”
Length- approx. 45.5”
Sleeve Length- 19”
The artistry used in the embroidered embellishments at the sleeves make this such a beautiful art-piece to enjoy!
