SCARAB 1940s Brass WWII Era Wings Brooch with Multi-Chain Fringe
When I think of a 1940s statement brooch this is it!
The Egyptians thought the scarab was a symbol of rebirth and manifestation.
There’s an imprint of a star on the back behind the clasp.
Materials: brass, glass and plastic
Measurements: approx. 3” x 3.25”
Condition: Great!
Some patina
The pink scarab cabochon is vintage but added by me. The original cabochon was missing.
One prong is missing which is why the original cabochon was lost. This makes the current cabochon a bit loose, so please keep an eye on.
